John Maguire
Founder
John Maguire is the Founder of Jump the Fence Recruiting, LLC.
John has a long history of leading great organizations with a unique approach to business development, relationship building, service excellence, and a client-centric mentality.
John began his career by growing WEEI sports radio in Boston to prominence as their General Manager. He was then selected by the Mara family to run corporate partnerships for the New York Giants, where he led the team’s Marketing and Sales divisions during the franchise’s run to Super Bowl success and oversaw a 550% increase in marketing revenue during his time at the wheel.
After his time with the New York Giants, John began Novo Consulting LLC to assist NRG with their corporate hospitality, business development, hiring, training, and research efforts. In addition to being the President and Founder of Novo Consulting, John also serves as Chairman of Best.Day.Ever. He is also an adjunct professor at NYU and holds patents in sales processes.
John has his BA in Accounting from Bentley University where he led the school’s hockey team in points. He spends his free time on the Cape or in Charleston with his wife, Kate, daughter, Kelley, and Bernese mountain dog, Hazel.
Rich Wurtzburger
Director, Recruiting
Rich Wurtzburger is the Director of Recruiting at Jump the Fence Recruiting, LLC.
Rich has more than 30 years of sales, marketing and licensing experience. In addition to working with Jump the Fence Recruiting, Rich also serves as Global Ambassador of Sponsorships, Licensing & Human Spaceflight Travel for Axiom Space, and as a Senior Sales Consultant for Novo Energy Services.
Before joining Jump the Fence Recruiting, Axiom Space & Novo Energy Services, Rich worked for 28 years as EVP and President for both PVH Corp. and Peerless Clothing Intl. PVH at the time owned Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Izod, Van Heusen, and numerous other global brands. Peerless Clothing is the largest men’s and boy’s tailored clothing manufacturer in the world with over 25 highly visible global and national brands.
Rich sits on the Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House New York, the National Father’s Day & Mother’s Day Council, the Shawn Grady Memorial Fund and the Little League District 20 of New York.
Rich also enjoys mentoring young professionals and students. He is a guest speaker at The Ohio State University, the University of Minnesota and Fordham University Law School.
